I'm in the market for a new phone(Verizon). And for many of the phones you must purchase a data plan. The lowest plan is $9.99 a month for 25mb. I am wondering if this is even enough to justifiy purchasing a data plan at all. How much data do you use a month on average?
If you use streaming video frequently, unlimited data is the way to go. The easiest way to figure it is based on moving pictures. Moving pictures and advertisements run through your mb's and gb's much quicker than stationary pages. Currently Verizon is $29.99/ month for unlimited. If you have certain phones you can also tether it to laptops or home computers which means you can use your phone as the modem for the other devices.
