I posted this in the wrong place so I am going to try this again....I am going to make the big move from crappy metro pcs. I thought I wanted an iphone because I like everything it has to offer, until I, #1 was told how crappy and spotty at&t service is, and #2 until I saw the HTC incredible, which looks pretty cool and has 50k + apps. Does anyone have an opinion on how different or smiliar the iphone and incredible are? Is the droid platform good? I like the touchscreen, the apps, the ease of use, email and nice looking internet on large screen that you get with an iphone, but the Incredible is intriguing. I am not a "tech nerd" but I am not illiterate either. I do enjoy simplicity though, easy access email etc. Opinions? Has this been answered 23878975 times?? Thank you!

It's a fairly new phone which is similiar to the new HTC Droid Eris. I would suggest going to the Verizon store to play around with it. Personally the Droid Eris (HTC) which came out before this, I love. I like it better than the Motorola Droid. It's a bit different form the IPhone but gives more options. The IPhone is an app machine, whereas the droids are customizable and give many more options and also should be linked with google for gmail, maps, and directions (navigation).

Droid Incredible also will have Flash soon for browsing the internet.

Here is a good comparison between the two. The Droid is more customizable and faster than the Iphone.
