Help me win an argument!

Are there wild alligators and crocodiles in South Carolina?

The climate "might" allow it but I just don't picture wild crocs and gators there. She says there is.

(we were looking at homes and she sad she didn't want one with a small pond or something in the backyard, and I had to laugh a little at that)

Plentiful alligators.

Maybe you should bring your wife flowers.

Alligators live in wetlands, so anywhere you see rivers, streams, lakes, marshes, ponds, and swamps you will find alligators along the coast.

I am used to gators, grew up in a neighborhood that was wetlands but full of canals, to dry up the land. Thrown rocks at gators as a kid to get them to hiss at us.
