I have been doing the research on Charleston for a while now and Canihoy is new to me....an someone tell me a bit about this area??? I know it is an extension of Daniel Island...Is it residential....More or less expensive than DI...access to the beach and shopping....any worthwhile websites that can give me more insight......Thanks
Cainhoy is another section in the city of Charleston that is considered "the last frontier" of development east of the Cooper River. Right now, it is a residential area with light industry, but most of it is still undeveloped. It will eventually be a retail/business/residential/industry corridor (Clements Ferry Road), but expect the area to be more developed in 5-10 years. There are a few neighborhoods such as River Reach Pointe, Beresford Hall Plantation, and The Peninsula.
