No you didnt disprove anything but thanks for trying. Ask any contractor what impact a highway dumping out into the suburbs has on his plans to build a development. It's a no brainer every time.
No need to argue whether a highway encourages growth. Johns Island is growing with development non stop. There, is no arguing this, if you don't like growth, and like the country, you can just move to the rural parts of Johns Island, outside the Urban growth boundary.

Well, I mean they are adding an entire new road and interchange to said new road to get to Cane Bay.
Indeed but Cane Bay is rather large already with a single 2 land road there.
