Not to bad other than the dig in the second paragraph:

"Which is a good thing, because if there's a city with worse cab service than Charleston, I don't want to know about it."

Is that a dig or simply an observation?

I agree you either walk, bike (and risk your life) or drive in Charleston. There is no other real option.

The Today Show just did a segment this morning on some of the best restaurants in the nation and Husk was #1. Has the Man Vs Food guy been there yet? I can't imagine them not at least doing one show in Charleston.

In my opinion, the article is massive fail. Aside from Husk, it's as if this guy hasn't been to Charleston in 10 years. SNOB and Peninsula Grill are such banal choices given places like McCrady's and FIG. To stick FIG down in "other places to consider" is a crime. Also, listing Mercato seems so random when arguably so many other restaurants in that "tier" of dining (e.g. Circa 1886, Tristan, Cypress, Blossom, Magnolia, Red Drum) are producing better dishes right now. Jestine's Kitchen is such a tired recommendation given the soul-food superstars like Bertha's Kitchen and Martha Lou's. And listing a chain BBQ place of all things to round things out, while not giving a local seafood joint like Hank's any treatment, makes no sense.
