My husbands job is taking us to Charlston, SC, we are actually moving within a few months and so we are looking to rent a house in Mount Pleasant for about 6 months to a year.
I found this house that's available and it's in Belle Hall. I am not familiar with that development and was wondering if anyone can shed some light for me.
We have two small kids, one is in kindergarten and the baby is only 18 mo old.
I am also looking into private schools in that area, not parochial ones and would appreciate any insight.
It would be nice to settle there and then purchase a house in a few months time.

If you type "charleston sc+belle hall" into google it will show you a link to apartmentratings.com. All of the people who wrote reviews said that it is not a good place to live. The only one that did write a good review is believed to be from belle hall's management. I hope this helps.

Myself, my wife and our 2 kids moved into Belle hall about a month ago. We absolutely love it so far. Everyone has been very welcoming to us and our kids have made friends quickly. The schools are good as well. I don't think you'd be dissapointed at all.

Hi there. Belle Hall is a nice community and close to a lot of things. I am not familiar with the schools myself, as I live on Daniel Island, just a few minutes away, but have heard that the Sunshine House, which is very close by, is not what you would be looking for. You might want to think about living in Mt. Pleasant itself, either in Dunes West or Park West. The schools are much better there. Also, Daniel Island is the next exit up from Belle Hall and the schools are great!!! There is Daniel Island Academy there which has only babies up to four year olds. My daughter went there for two years prior to going to kindergarten at the new Daniel Island School which opened last year. There are plenty of places to rent in both areas. Keep in mind that Belle Hall, Mt. Plesant and Daniel Island are all within a 10-15 minute drive of each other depending on where you are going. Everything is very close. If you need any more info, please feel free to ask.
