A bit off topic but did you know Sagos are poisonous to dogs? My friend's dog died last year from eating/chewing on one...very sad...

I did learn that after we moved here, and I have several in back. We considered digging them up, but my dogs leave them alone. I did almost lose one of mine to a wild patch of morning glory that was growing in the back of the yard, so now I do seasonal inspections for bad plants in the yard.

I didn't either, but I guess pretty much any flower that grows in that trumpet shape is going to be toxic. My dog didnt eat much and he's 148#, and he was hideously sick for more than a week. Hallucinating too, which would have been hilarious if it weren't for the other health concern.

I didn't know that!!! I have two in the front yard and had considered moving them to the back yard. I have two dogs that are mostly outside dogs (fenced in backyard). Wow, I'm so glad you said something. I just passed this information on to my husband and kids. I learn so much from this forum!!!

I would bet my life that East Bay Street flooded. That street always floods. I would also guess that the road Shem Creek is on, but after Shem Creek and before the next bridge heading towards Sullivan's flooded. We went that way during super moon and if the water was a couple inches higher, it would have been flooded.
