So in a recent thread I mentioned a Lamborghini ..

Reason being is because in the last two days I've seen two different Ferraris and yesterday I saw a Lamborghini.

SOMEONE in Charleston is recovering from the down economy nicely.

Porches and Mazerattis are becoming old hat around here really .. but yesterday when the Lamborghini turned onto Hwy 17 in front of me .. that's not something you see everyday.

Just wanted to share. And no I don't think the Lamborghini driver was an elitist snob ... lol.

I saw a Lotus driving in rush hour traffic on Dorchester Rd a few weeks ago, the dude was driving it like it was his daily driver...

some serious money has come to NChas, maybe from Seattle??

There are quite a few of those small Lotus Elise-type cars around here that I suspect are daily drivers. Those things were only in the $50k range brand new...not exactly the most high dollar cars on the road.

People who could afford those cars before the economic downturn can most likely still afford them...recovery or not.

There's always been plenty of money in Charleston. No need to import it although I don't exactly imagine an old Charleston family driving something so flashy like a Lotus.
