I bought a house back in February in the Farm at Wescott as a foreclosure. Since it was bank owned there was no flood elevation certificate and the bank said it's in a high risk flood zone so I pay $1500/yr just for flood insurance. I'm pretty sure that it's not in a high risk flood zone from talking to neighbors, but I have to get a real survey. Does anyone know a good company for a survey? Thanks

Did you check with the town to find out if there is a flood elevation certificate on file? They will also be able to tell you what flood zone you are in and if it is a flood zone, if you are grandfathered so that you don't have to get a survey done.

Can't the builder get you a copy of the survey? I got mine from my builder.

Go with the above advice. Then, if you still need it, Parker Surveying or Atlantic Surveying should be able to help.
