Hi all!

I'm wondering if anyone has been in recent years and can tell me if the restaurants showcasing their food give out sample tastings, or sell them instead? I know we have to buy tickets to get into the event, just trying to see what I can expect to spend overall.

Thanks!

The main event is Sunday, Sept 30th. Sounds really fun- food, wine, live music, kid zone and only $15 in advance! Thats what makes me wonder if the real spending begins once you get past the gate, or if the admission covers all.

Hmmm.... I've only been to one, in another town, everything was included for that price except the wine... I'll try to google around and find it

Just found the site from last year's event - apparently last year you had to buy food/drink tickets for $2 per ticket, and then use the tickets to purchase food and drinks, the price of which ranged from $2-$6 per item, so 1-3 tickets each. Not as much of a deal then, but should still be a nice outdoor event.

Just wondering from these comments.. Do you think locals are dwindling away from these events? Like "been there/done that"? Not that many tourists that time of the year.

Does it turn out to be an expensive event to avoid?

Maybe... it might also be a tradition for some... and socialization for others....
