Just a warning, Boone Hall's Fright Night is not appropriate for little ones. I know it seems obvious saying that, but my son is an actor there and he was surprised at how many parents brought little kids to it.

If you have younger kids, try the West Farm Corn Maze. You can go at dusk and do the maze by flashlight or go during the day if you have little kids. Lots of other stuff to do. They have a website and a facebook page. West Farm Corn Maze | Charleston Area - Moncks Corner, SC | September 30 - October 30, 2011

Does anyone know if anyone does a haunted corn maze? We loved those back home!
The corn maze at Boone Hall is not haunted, so it's also a good place for the kids.

The best in all of Charleston by far is in Ravenel out at St. Paul's school. You can look this up. I have been all over Charleston to the different ones at Halloween. The one in Mt. Pleasant is lame at Boone Hall. The Haunted Hayride is by far the best at St. Paul's. It is a little drive out, but worth it. Just don't go late at night near Halloween , you will wait in line for more than an hour. Go earlier in October.
