I had Andolinis for the first time this week. I had pretty low expectations based recommendations of people I work with. It was basically what I expected. Glorified frozen pizza. Shame really. The people were nice and the restaurant has a good vibe.

Was yours as overcooked as every Andolinis pizza I've had?

Yeah. The crust was way overdone.

My apologies if this has been mentioned before, but anyone have any feedback on Sabatino's on Calhoun?

Thanks

I ordered wings with the pizza, but honestly, I ate so much of the pizza because it was good that I touched ZERO wings. Maybe for lunch today.
Glad to hear that you liked Jets! We had them back up North, and were really excited that one opened up here last year. I definitely wouldn't call it "deep dish" pizza, because that makes me (and probably other people too) think of a Chicago style pizza with a ton of toppings and "filling", but has a normal thickness bottom crust. The square Jets pizza, is more like a pan pizza where the crust/dough is very thick and soft, while the very bottom has a nice crunch to it. They also sell a traditional hand tossed round, but I've never had it....the "Jets Boats" are to die for though.

Swamp Fox, you're probably referring to Andoline's in West Ashley.

Big difference to Mt P's Andolini -- good to great -- it does vary
