We have finally decided on Mount Pleasant. I have been looking online at townhouses and apartments in Mount Pleasant but want to hear feedback from you guys about which are the nicest, safest, and the best price for what you get.

Not to worry about safety in townhomes & apts in Mt P. Really, you like it, it'll be safe.

And what means "best" to you/what do you want to get? Closest to beach ... upgrades galore ... just clean with space anywhere ... walk to bars/restaurants ...? Your best price needs more definiton for us to help you.

We would like a pool in the apartment complex. We would prefer a complex that may have other families. We don't care how close it is to the beach. Laundry in the unit would be nice but not necessary. Obviously we want nice but it doesn't have to be extravagant. I'd like to keep it around $1,000 a month if I can find any good apartments at the price. I'm not familiar with what the norm is here.

The Legends in front of Charleston National.

$1,000 will get you a two bedroom, Washer dryer connections, a pool and put you in the zone for some of the best schools Charleston has.
