The party claimed to have called ahead, but I also heard that the Wild Wings doesn't take reservations.

I suspect they will fire the manager, or pretend like they did and just move her to another one of their restaurants after the interest in the story goes away. You can tell they feel boxed in a bit at this point and defending their employees even if it is the right thing to do is probably the dumb move from a PR standpoint.

Trying to seat that many people in a restaurant like WWC would be difficult on a SLOW night.

WWC does NOT take reservations, so the bit about calling ahead is load IMHO.

Don't show up to a place like WWC the night of your gathering, calling ahead or not, and expect to be seated any time soon.

As for the 'drudge' report ... gimme a break ... it's not like sex in public doesn't happen in downtown Charleston, Mount Pleasant or DI etc etc etc.

Anyone ever been to the beach at sunrise and caught some young lovers? I have on more than one occasion.

Well, for a 31 yr. old man to take a 20 yr. old to a Home Depot "love shed" instead of getting a room in broad daylight, is a little different than young lovers on a beach. I'm sure her parents are very proud.
