Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if there are any farm markets that are operating year round in the area? I've been to the market at Moultrie Middle and Boone Hall as well. I am missing this great place that was near me in PA - it had local produce, a bakery, gifts and seasonal cool stuff (a big pumpkin patch, Christmas trees, etc.)...

anything similar around here? or maybe an hour or so away?

Thanks.

The Charleston Farmers Market is the largest market and it is every Saturday am in Marion Square from 8-2.

Mt. Pleasant Farmers Market held every Tuesday afternoon at Moultrie Middle School.
Unlike the downtown market, it has very few craft/artisans and more farmers.

I think folks should speak more toward the "year round" question.

There are plenty of markets around...none are all year that I know of.

Yeah -- sorry -- skipped over the year round market thing. I don't think there are many local farmer markets that operate year round.

MUSC has a farmers market on Fridays I think....MUSC Farmers Market | Downtown | Stands, Stores, & Markets | Local Food
