I currently have ATT and not too happy with cell phone coverage in this area. We recently moved here, what cell phone service works best in the entire area as my husband drives for work and he is between Charleston and Savannah GA. All help is appreciated!

+1 for Verizon. No coverage issues ever in any area in Charleston.

I have Sprint and have no problems with coverage in the area BUT......Verizon is suppose to have the best overall coverage and sometimes you need to leave Charleston area.

We have Sprint. Husband also works along the SC/GA coast. We chose Sprint before moving to the area based on their unlimited data and so far haven't had issues.

I use Verizon and it has good coverage, ATT coverage was pretty bad for me.

I would really not recommend Sprint. There is no 4g LTE here for Sprint and no 4g WiMax. You can’t roam on 4g due to different frequencies between carriers. I live in Summerville and worth in North Charleston and the 3g is ****-poor. I would strongly suggest AT&T or Verizon.

I have Verizon service, but I get it through Page Plus Wireless. PPW is a prepaid carrier that uses the Verizon network. I pay $55/month (incl. taxes) for unlimited talk and text and 2GB of data. I've never run out of data yet (though I don't stream video or music on my phone unless I'm at home using wifi). The best place to get a PPW account is through IVAD Wireless in Summerville behind Sticky Fingers on 17A.
