Anyone have any inside information on the folks who own Taps Beer Cafe in Summerville? Their Facebook page mentioned moving, to somewhere close by. A friend at work said one of the owners talked about possibly opening a small restaurant with the beer shop.

I was hoping they were going to open up shop at the new Corners at Westcott where the new Teeter is opening, but we'll see.

If anyone is interested, Taps Beer Cafe is reopening near Ladles and Steel City in Summerville/North Charleston on Dorchester. If you drive by, you can see the kegs through the window. So excited that my growler fills will be this close. They said last week that it will be a few weeks until opening, but from the looks of their location, it might be a couple more weeks in the works.

And they are open now. Nice local establishment with beers on tap (including local).
