I know the question below is about the commute to N. Charleston. Just curious what it might be to Daniel Island too. I tried to search and didn't find the answer.

Yeah, Mt P is larger than you may think.. Would need some sort of marker. Not to sound like an a**, but googlemaps would give you a real good idea if you had a couple of addressed.

You don't even need addresses. Just zoom in on the map and click from point to point.

Now...if I could just figure out how to do that with the blasted new Google Maps. I get confused looking at it...

I did google map it. Just curious if the traffic that way was bad. I had heard the traffic into Charleston can get pretty bad (on here) so I wondered if going that way was also just as bad.

It's only bad if there's an accident on the Wando bridge. If there's not, you could be 5-20 minutes, depending on where in Mt. Pleasant you're coming from. 41 to Clements Ferry could also be an option from areas like Brickyard, Rivertowne, Park/Dunes West, Carolina Park, etc., but would still be subject to time of day and traffic/accident concerns. More potential for the Clement's Ferry route to get snarled than 526.
