I'll be in Beaufort this week and asking for recs for a neat place on the water for lunch. I know the Water Festival is this weekend but I'll be there Thurs so hopefully not too much of a crowd yet.

But if there is some crazy wonderful place in town and not on the water, that would be great also.

Thanks.

Beaufort really isn't mentioned in this forum often at all. With as pretty a place that it is, I'm kind of surprised.

I do know they are having their Water Festival beginning this Friday if anyone wants something to do. It's always fun.

Thanks. I appreciate it. We have passed by it in the boat but never gotten out to eat. Good to know the food is good there.

I love Dockside too! Plums is also a great lunchspot. Its in dwtwn BFT on
Bay St, with porch dining overlooking the park and river.

Awesome. If we don't make it to Dockside and are out and about walking downtown and get hungry, we'll give Plums a try. What a cute place and the lunch menu looks delish.

Thanks for the recommendation. We ended up not going to Port Royal so we did eat at Plums. It was yummy. Here's what we got....

Famous pimento sandwich.
