And as much as you appreciate Chipotle is good fast food -- you might eat it once a year....and you love wine....wine is probably the worst offender with all that sugar.

Small 60 year old here, but my light weight has nothing to do with how much I love food, because when it comes to really good eating, I'm a pig!

How many of you guys out there are Adonis?
Don't tell me... 100%, right?

LOL

Craving me some Waffle House now. It's been years. I have a road trip coming up this coming weekend and can't wait. Road trips was always my excuse to hit it up.

the show was pretty good, 8/10. Too much Waffle House for my liking.
What was the bar they were in for the opening scene?
It was really a commercial for anything Sean Brock, as if he needs any more publicity.
I like Andrew Zimmerans 'Bizarre Foods' episode from Cton as well.

"The opening scene(s)" - that pretty much is what disappointed me. He usually opens with several great shots of whatever city or other type of place he's in to give the viewer a strong sense of place. I feel like the camera work was lacking in that respect. I didn't get a "portrait(s)" of Charleston introduction at the beginning, nor after the first commercial. Otherwise it was okay for capturing what Charleston has to offer.

He could have left out the Waffle House. That was like "Which one of these things is not like the others"

The rest of the show was great. We have a few new Restaurants to try. But I'm not convinced we have to drive 2 hours out to Scott's BBQ to get the good pig-pickens.

Brock was right...99% of the bbq is crap. I like Scott's, and would rather have it than anything else in the tri-county area.

Oh, and that "stringy" barbecue would have been from the belly...where bacon comes from. My favorite part of the pig when at a pig pickin.

Did I hear Anthony right? Did he say "one of two" restaurants in his statement about fine dining in Charleston? Husk is one. What's the other one?

That looked like the Husk bar to me. It's a "must do" at least once.
