Thanks for the reminder. When I lived in Atlanta I went to the Native Plant Society sale every spring...plus a few plant sales of other horticultural societies in the area. It was the absolutely best way to get plants. I have tried to get to this one every year but have been out of town. Was just going to check up on this today. Here are a couple more events in the area. I love to get cuttings from established plants. I started doing that with the horticultural society back in Canada and they were always the strongest plants....and sometimes there would be other goodies stashed in the pot with the featured plant.

Interesting Lists of plants for sale that day. I think it's worth a drive to Charles Towne Landing.

I absolutely have to get a "Tea Olive" plant for the back yard. They are so fragrant, even this early in the season !!!

Ya'll please post pictures of your new plants. Sometimes I miss having a nice sized yard with beautiful flowers and bushes.

I have a Tea Olive. I bought mine from Abide a While or Hyams. It is a very slow grower -- I think -- so get a good size.
