Lol. The whole argument isn't against transgenders, it's against the normal freaks, like the Subway guy. How hard is that to understand. The law opens up anyone to take advantage of it. 99% of people aren't worried about the transgender person being the pervert.

Columbia and Charleston are generally welcoming places, especially for the Deep South. Richland and Charleston counties were the only counties in SC that Trump didn't win in the republican primary. So yes even when you take away the minorities richland and charleston counties tend to be more liberal than the rest of the state.

Ironically enough trump has since said he thinks the NC law is silly.

Yes, Charleston and Richmond Cos went for Rubio (the GOP darling at the time), then Trump, and Cruz trailing 3rd.
