Would you believe this about my package shipped via FEDEX?

It was shipped from Newburgh NY on the 26th. Then it went from Newburgh to Keasbey NJ on the 27th.
Shipped from there to hmmmm COWPENS SC on the 27th also. Now it went from Cowpens SC to Atlanta GA on the 28th which is still there. I wonder where it goes next. I wonder how FEDEX figure out their shipment routes. Wow!

Why didn't they put it on a truck heading towards Columbia or Charleston??

And FEDEX wonders why people complain about late shipments!

I never use FedEx Ground. It's a separate service from FedEx.
Ground shipping use UPS
Express shipping use FedEx

What Level of FedEx service is it getting? Overnight? Ground? SmartPost?

All have different SLA's, routing, Sort Centers.

One thing to keep in mind, Just because it was "Scanned" at Cowpens, does not mean it got off the truck, or was sorted there. It may have been in the front of the truck full of stuff going to Atlanta, where they actually sort it.

The Cowpens Scan, could be a "TruckFull" scan, Everything that is inside that truck get update when the truck arrives/departs that location, without anyone touching the packages. (UPS does that also)

My buddy in Ohio found the same thing on one of his packages last year. Instead of coming FedEx, it came via USPS.

It eventually switches over to smartpost. Maybe that is why it went to Atlanta. But had things shipped as smartpost before and it went to Columbia then switched over to the postoffice.

Who knows??
