Here in the Charleston Market, I spend my grocery money at:

1.) Walmart Supercenter/Walmart Neighborhood Market/Sam's Club. Simple reason: price. Almost always cheaper than everyone else.
2.) Costco. Great quality, sometimes a little more, but worth it. Produce and meats.
3.) Publix. For small trips and also for their deli meats and subs. Also their BOGOs beat Walmart on price, if what you want is on sale.

Honorable mentions: Save-A-Lot for cheap produce, Aldi for the same reason sometimes. I also shop at Whole Foods and Trader Joes for specific items.

Places I never shop at:
Piggly Wiggly
Food Lion
Bi-Lo
Harris Teeter (too expensive for the things I buy)
IGA

There's already a Save-A-Lot on Dorchester Road. In a old Rite Aid building.

That store seems clean and what not. Can't say I've ever been in.
