When I was in the grocery business I used to judge neighborhoods by how fast the centers of the parking spaces were gouged out by transmision fluid leaking from old junker cars.
I judged and still judge grocery stores by the amount of vehicles parked in their parking lots. It is easy to tell who is doing business and who is not doing business.
Well hopefully it wont have to come to that. Low income minorities deserve access to proper groceries just as much as priveledged hipsters.

I think something like a Save-A-Lot might be willing to locate there, but they usually lease an existing space.
