As I said 3 posts up: The question seems to be at what point is the fetus a baby/human. I wish I knew the answer. Do you ?

Funny how you can be charged for 2 counts of murder if you kill a pregnant woman...

Have you ever been through the adoption process? Do you know the pitfalls and hurdles placed in the way for adopting US children? Ever wonder why so many Americans adopt from over seas? Because your neighbor feels one way doesn't mean society as a whole does. You just want to make sweeping generalizations to try and prove a your world view. You want to increase adoption in the US... change the laws (which adoption groups have been trying to do for years).
No I have not. What are some of the pitfalls and hurdles please seriously? My neighbor is saying he would adopt a new baby but not an older one. Are the rules different based on age ?

Would and Could are 2 different words, even if he'd like to adopt there are a ton of restrictions on such things to ensure there are no home life problems

I maintain the decision to abort or carry should be under control of the one who is pregnant.

Coming from a family where large parts are adopted, I would suggest you actually open a dialog with some of the agencies and spend some time in the adoption forums to get an idea of what you're dealing with before you start taking positions you know nothing about.

I would imagine age is a big one. He's 60.

Perhaps the decision should have been made earlier in the process....

We should patent the iDaddy. Implant a valve in the males and they can turn it on or off in their iPhone using Bluetooth. Installed defaulted to OFF position.
