Hey Guys:
My husband and I are moving to the Charleston area and are looking @ maybe opening up a franchise! I would love to hear what type of franchises Charleston needs-wants. Is there a certain need in the area? I look forward to hearing your responses!
Salad Works, please! Or any type of convenience store. My husband and I are relocated Yankees and we seriously miss having a Wawa, Sheetz, or 7-11. There is nothing similar and I think one would make a killing!
I don't have a name for the franchise because I'm not sure there is one. I want a restaurant that has a large variety of healthy food. Preferrably in the Goose Creek or Summerville area.
DJ, mentioning Dave & Busters was dead-on!! Chas needs a venue like D & B because Frankie's, while it's OK, is starting to become outdated. I also believe that if you build one, build it West Ashley near Citadel Mall. I think that it would revitalize this section of town into a centerpiece of retail and business activity.
SC, Olive Garden and/or Carrabbas West Ashley would be great.
PF Chang's, Ruth's Chris, and Cheesecake Factory should also be considered.

I agree on these three, particularly PF Chang's and Cheesecake Factory.
