I'm asking for my mom. She just had a new roof put on and now needs new gutters. She doesn't need them around her whole house but just in a particular area in the front. She wants the kind that close to keep the pine needles out.

She's asked Tri-County Roofing and Lowes came out but they were crazy high or either do gutters around the whole house or they don't bother.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

No first-hand experience, but this one was recommended by several people on one of the neighborhood sites:

We got 3 quotes and the best price by far was Free Flow Gutters. They installed 6 inch downspouts and put leaf screens on the 2nd story gutters (I ain't getting on no 2-story ladder !! ).

Keeping the rain from cascading off the roof and splashing around the foundation was our main goal....but directing the water down to a natural drainage swale really improved the appearance of the lawn. I'm surprised the Building Code doesn't require gutters with the downpours we get.
