Hello,

Mt Pleasant has public transportation to Charleston everyday and it is good. Mt Pleasnt is only 5 minutes to the beach--our beach is Sullivans Island and Isle of palm beaches. but you can also go to Folly beach in 45 minutes.

Schools are good in elementary--the best is the Mt Pleasant academy but there are other good ones. HS is Wando and it is good(these are public schools and the private ones are even better).

Great shopping and groceries stores all over Mt Pleasant. Excellent homes and apartments and recreation all over. Low Crime rates.

the weather is great warm almost all year long.

wynettam, yes summerville has schools and stores and such.

I wouldnt live out there without a car, its far out from the city of Charleston. you should look at N Charleston, West Ashley, Johns and James Island and Mt Pleasant and Charleston.
