Any road intersection that you avoid or just plain can't stand?

Yes, yes it is. I live right by it, but I don't live on John's Island. I feel so bad for anyone who has to turn to go that way. Traffic backs up to Carolina Bay sometimes in the afternoons.

It is quite hard to pick just one most hated intersection here though...

52 and 176 in Goose Creek because the lights are long, people misuse the lanes and it would make a world of sense for it to be an overpass/merge

Longpoint/17 in Mt. Pleasant because the light always seems to be broken when trying to make a left off of Longpoint. I've sat for 5-10 minutes waiting for a green light and had it turn red again in less than 30 seconds.

Any intersection on Ashley Phosphate near I26 anytime of day. Also, Remount and Rivers is a real PITA in the evenings. In Mt. P, I try to avoid everything on 17 between Bowman and the IOP connector. Use Mathis Ferry, Hospital Dr., Hungry Neck or Rifle Range. Everyone just loves to cruise through that 45mph section at around 32mph. Drives me nuts.

The most dangerous intersection is trying to get to Lowes from the James Island Expy. Seen so many accidents of cars stopping in the middle of Folly Rd with their blinkers on trying to merge into the turning lane. I've even seen cars backed up from the traffic light waiting in the narrow median. (they need to fix that intersection)

I also don't go that way, but it is by far Main Rd & Savannah Hwy!

Yes. That one in Goose Creek is terrible. I've heard it nicknamed "the stoplight from hell." During the afternoon rush hour people start lining up for the turn lanes waaay before it starts, by using the median. I try to follow the laws sometimes and then I can't get over. Ugh.

I agree with the overpass thing. I was talking to my friend about that last week while we were stuck there. They need one like they have in Myrtle Beach, across from the old Air Force base.

I'm sure there are worse intersections, but that's the only one I deal with everyday.
