How is the transit system? (I'd rather deal with transit than with traffic if I can avoid it)

How is Charleston for live music? (I play drums, guitar, bass, vocals. Style is funk/jazz/rock mix.)

Do restaurants get slow in the winter? (I work in the service industry as a bartender/ dinner server. I'm looking to move down to Charleston around October.)

thanks for your time

Yes, business in the restaurant industry drops off significantly in the winter.

The transit system sucks. There is no way around this. The busses are few and far between and never run ontime. There is no light rail, as well as bus/carpool lanes for them to travel in. If you lived downtown maybe the transit system might work for you, but anywhere else would be quite difficult.
