Yes, charming. I wonder how charming they are to actually live in?

They can be very nice to live in but it will often take a good bit of money to make them comfortable and bring them up to more modern living standards. It's not cheap to maintain them either but there's a lot of money in Charleston. I loved renovating those old houses when I was doing construction.

Here is another thing.. Charleston’s new Visitor Center is very nice. Did you know that the restroom there is unisex? Why?

This one thing told me all I need to know about Charleston politics. If I were contemplating a move there, this one thing would cause me to remove it from my list. Y’all are way too woke for me.

Somehow we’ll manage without having you here.

Likewise.
Does this mean you like going potty with the opposite sex? Enjoy.

I'm going with cost vs demand for bathrooms over politics.

I have stopped there to use the facilities half a dozen times. The men’s room is for men only, and no one’s checking birth certificates.

I was there recently and there are Men's and Women's bathrooms on the other side of the building.

Typically the Unisex toilets I know of have locked doors. They are not being shared by more that one person at the same time unless it is someone I intimately know and we are not in there to "go potty".............LOL

Yes, I've seen Unisex "family" bathrooms. Typically larger in size to accommodate parents that need to help children in a more private setting. For example a mother with a younger boy in the women's bathroom or a father with a younger daughter in the men's. Or frankly, parents with just a bunch of kids that you can't really leave alone while helping one.
