Are there any in stock right now in the Sville area? My mom is wanting to get it but her doctor has no stock and they aren't offering a waiting list. We tried Pulbix and they are booked up. Is there a way to get on a waiting list somewhere?

I read this morning that Seacoast in Mount Pleasant was going to start Friday. May want to research that.

Thanks so much! I found the site https://muschealth.org/get-vaccine and asked mom if she'd like to go but she wants to try to stay closer to Summerville since you have to go twice.

If you can find someplace to get it anytime soon, I'd jump on it. Everyone I've talked to says appts are being scheduled months out.

Good advice. I'd get the first as soon as possible and maybe by the time it is ready for the second...then Summerville will be offering a site and you won't have to travel.
I did find a phone number that is extremely helpful. It's the DHEC office. You call it and they give you all the options of where you can go in your county. They will even make your appt for you. I called twice and each time the call was picked up quickly.
Mom is going to Harris Teeter on Dorchester Rd. in Sville. The lady on the phone made the appt for mom after giving us a choice of times and days. She also asked some questions about allergies, weight, when she last had a physical and those type questions. All mom does is show up.
The phone number for DHEC is 866-365-8110.
The girl was going to give us a list of places to go in Dorchester Cnty. She said Doctor's Care was another place to go. Mom was happy enough with Harris Teeter so we didn't hear the whole list.
There's a place in N. Charleston, Royal Baptist Church (Luela Drive) that is giving vaccines Jan 27 from 9-2 and no need to register....just show up if anyone is interested. I think though you either need to be over 75 or a health care worker. I'm not sure. If any questions, you can call the Fetter Center on Nassau Ave.
