Hello all!
Second new post of the day! We will be visiting the Summerville, Goosecreek, and Charleston areas next April for a possible relocation. Are there any certain areas, sites, restaurants, tourist attractions that we should definitely make a point to see during our weeks stay? I figured the locals might be able to guide us especially since we are not familiar at all with the area? Our first stop will be Goosecreek, onto Summerville, Charleston and finally the Myrtle Beach area. I appreciate any advice or recommendations for our visit!
Thanks Again!

I am not sure when in April you will be coming, but it will most likely be flower season! You will love being in the Lowcountry during this time. Make sure you don't time your visit over the FLowertown Festival weekend if you don't want to fight a lot of people and traffic in Summerville. (Although if you want a fun weekend the festival is a lot of fun for the family, so you may want to coordinate times!) I would check out Azalea Park in Summerville-flowers should be gorgeous. Get a picnic lunch and eat on the lawn or by the ponds while the kids run around. (It's a flower park-no jungle gyms or such_ but plenty of gazebos, statues and cool stuff for the kids to play on and explore). That would be one suggestion.
Do you want recommendations on what developments to look at or just activities?

We'll be coming down the week after the Flowertown Festival. We're empty nesters but will be traveling with our 2 sons, daughter-in-law and granddaughter so we'll be sure to check out the parks! We're just looking for activities around the area and researching employment as well. It is quite possible our whole family will be relocating so we plan on visiting at least 3 times a year in the next few years. We obviously are trying to attempt a huge relocation! Thanks for your time!
