Anyone commute 61? (Charleston, Summerville: move to, ferry, best)

Just wanted to see if there was anyone who takes 61 from Summerville to Charleston each day. If so, whats the traffic like during the rush hours?

DH drives 26 like most (and has for the last 3 years.) I keep telling him to try 61 but he doesn't like that it is a 2 lane road. Our sitter might move to Legend Oaks and I'm thinking 61 will be his best bet but I don't know what its like.

From Legend Oaks to downtown, I take 61. Sometimes I jump off on Bee's Ferry & get on McConnell to 526 into 17. It's a feel kind of thing as your driving & guessing if something will slow things down ahead.

Either way, it's a much prettier ride than 26.
