There are some great homes on the market that are located close to the small airport in Mt. Pleasant, what is it like living in that area?

Thanks

I am in Park West and I don't think it's bad at all.... I might hear one "loud" plane once/week... house shakes a bit (as it does when it thunders)...

it's absolutely nothing! I live less than 1/2 mile from it, basically across the street (in Charleston national) and it's just a teeny tiny airport for private planes....that's it....not even helicopters go there I don't think....

I live in Park West also..my house does not shake. I mostly hear planes/helo's from the military pass by... not from the small airport that is nearby. This is a very small airport that is rarely used.

I lived at Madison Park West this past winter. I'm also a pilot. Yes, the airport is busy on weekends. There is noise. Weekdays are quiet. With the price of aviation gas at $5-6 per gallon (and small planes burn around 3 to 10 gallons per hour), this should put a damper on leisure fliers.
