An Italian American preferring to live in an Italian American neighborhood, doesn't make them racist. Means they like living among other Italians. What you are saying is illogical. By the by I am Black. lmao

Free association is one thing preventing someone from living where they want to is another, If you don't want to live near someone of a particular race, creed or association don't move near them, but to tell some one else that they can not move near you is different.....

I can't believe this thread is still alive, people need to quit being so infatuated with race relations in the south... it isn't what you saw on TV from where you came from, those were OLD shows made for entertainment and not from reality... race relations are actually much better down here than in most other places in the country! except of course in those places where there aren't many of a different race to compare, as is with much of the midwest

this is a different America than even 50 yrs ago, get over it already

Here's another for you, albeit from 1993: a Honda salesman made a point of telling my dad that the cars were made by "an all-white workforce in Ohio". Of course, I am *sure* that was a totally isolated incident and that man never passed that sort of prejudice to his children.

I will date myself now, but I was fired from a job in Louisville, KY around 1974 (I know, off topic and too old...this would NEVER happen now, right?) for serving a black man a drink. I grew up in NYC, and never gave it a second thought.

Okay, now go into an all-black inner city neighborhood in NYC or Chicago or DC and go into a nightclub and order a drink. Make it a point to complain about the service. See what happens to you.

I can guarantee you that there are some cities in New Jersey and Maryland, and California, where you, as a white person, would be dead within 15 minutes of your arrival.
