Any ideas? We will be at Blackbeard's Cove all day for a child's bday party and need a place close by to take family guests afterward for dinner. Someplace nice, but still kid friendly ( but not chainstyle, etc) something fun...

Jack's Cosmic Dog?

The Mellow Mushroom is out in that area, but it doesn't fit the non-chain criteria.

thanks! those place look fun. i like mellow mushroom's website... how is the food?

or maybe a nice, but still casual ( but not too casual) seafood place?

i'd be ok with a local chain...i just meant not like a chili's or ablebees kinda place, lol.

thanks for the pictures!

GILLIGANS is a nice-but not too casual- seafood. Mello Mushrooms is excellent.
I think Jacks would be too casual.

mellow mushroom is pizza, pasta, calzones, etc. there's one in mt. p 3110 hwy 17.

gilligan's is just in sc and has seafood - and really good hushpuppies. did you see their website? Gilligan's Charleston Seafood Restaurant Fresh Shrimp Oysters SC. it's one of my favorites! everything is really good.

both are kid friendly.
