Is there construction work around the Charleston area? (rentals, homes) - South Carolina (SC) -Charleston - North Charleston - Mt. Pleasant - Summerville - Goose Creek - City-Data Forum

We are looking to move to South Carolina within 6 months. My boyfriend does all sorts of construction including operating heavy equipment. Are they still building down there? We were mainly looking in the Charleston area , or some where at least an hour from the ocean. Any pricing of single homes for rent would be helpful as well.

They are still building but not like they were a year ago...

Rentals go from 1K to 1.5K a month...
