When you say placed to rent do you mean commercial or residential? The residential properties off of Ashley Phosphate are so so. You really have to check it out to make a decision.

It's kinda like South Blvd in your area if that helps. Of course I left Charlotte in 1992 and haven't been back much so South Blvd could of changed.

We were talking about both. We will be down again next month and we are going to dedicate much more time to looking for areas we like and start really narrowing it down.

South Blvd. area has changed SO much. It is nothing like it used to be. I grew up off of Seneca Place, if you recall that area. And while the neighborhood area back in there is still charming the SB corridor is a mess from about Scaleybark South. It breaks my heart to see how it has deteriorated. Scaleybark towards downtown has grown like crazy and is doing well.
