My wife build web pages and runs a web based business so I may need it, will have to compare the bandwidth, speed and costs.

I play online video games so I would like something fast too....

You might want to also look into WiMax if you are going to be remote. The speeds are up there as well. I'm just not sure how the coverage is here in the Summerville area.

What is WiMax, I will not be in Summerville, we are moving out into the sticks by lake Moultrie.

You just have to dig a bit to find any providers in the area you are looking at.

It's what the technology is built for. You might need a tall pole to get above the trees to have a line of site to the transmission tower but it's built for more rural areas of the country.
