Hi, we recently moved here and my bf is searching for a fishing spot where the boys will 'catch' and girls can hang out, swim, read...room for chairs...no gators...already had that experience...thanks for your help...posted on here before for a hang out spot/bar and the responses were great

Sounds like yall need to run up to Lake Moultrie and go to Lions Beach, or down to one of the ocean beaches and he can surf fish, just make sure you have a fishing license.

Breach Inlet.
Just dont go in the water, the currents are to strong, and you will get a ticket for it. They have had a lot of people drown there.
The fishing is good!

No swimming, but the new fishing pier at Waterfront Memorial Park (under the Ravenel Bridge in Mt P) is a great fishing pier...otherwise, you are describing fishing on the beaches at IOP or Sullivans Island...

And yes, STAY OUT of the water at Breach Inlet....it is very dangerous to even wade ankle deep there b/c it drops off so quickly and the currents are strong...I've seen people get swept out there w/ my own eyes.
