Greetings.

I am hoping someone can help me out. I am looking to stay in a nice B&B somewhere in Charleston. It will be just my wife and I and we would like to take in all the sites as we have never been to Charleston. We are looking to go late February-Early March. Can anyone recommend a place that is centrally located? We would like to keep our price below $300/night. What activities/sites would you recommend to someone?

Thanks in advance!

If you want to stay a little further out, Linwood Bed & Breakfast in Summerville is just wonderful and the owners do everything to make sure you have what you need.

I would definitely try the Jasmine Inn in Hasell street (Ansonborough) or their sister the Indigo Inn.
The carriage House at the Jasmine is wonderful (in my opinion). Early March is a wonderful time to be in Charleston (but books up quickly); don't forget to get out to Magnolia Gardens, the camellias are just finishing but spectacular and the swamp walk magical.
Also, the b n b at the Mansion in Charlotte street, farther north from the historic district (Wraggborough) is nice, friends stay there.
