My husband and I am exploring a job opportunity in Charleston and spending one night on Daniel Island. We love all types of food and would like to explore a bit that evening - your suggestions would be appreciated.

You have to try the Dragon Palace. The restaurant is beautiful and the food is good too. Its like a traditional Chinese restaurant.
Sienna- Contemporary Italian- Frommers rates it Excellent.

No Offense, And this is My opinion... but Queen Anns Revenge is not all that. I think back it's day it was the place to eat but now there is so much better around for Seafood and Steaks.

Hmmm, I haven't been there in over a year, so it may be time for a return visit and reevaluation....

And me too! My husband took me there a few years ago and I was not impressed. But I should give it another chance also.
That is why I said "my opinion".

Try Vespa or Wasabi on DI. Both are newer and the food at both is fantastic. Enjoy!

Vespa is a wood-fired pizza place. They also have great entrees. The chefs there used to be at Rue De Jean and Fat Hen (I believe). Great food if you haven't tried it. Here's the website: Neapolitan Wood-Fired PizzaI saw in one of your posts that Basil was coming to Mt. P. One of my favorites. Did that ever happen?

They have the land and the sign up, but last I checked nothing built yet. According to their facebook page it is still happening.
