Sorry if this is offensive to natives.

I actually want to move to a neighborhood in MP that has LOTS of New Yorkers. I guess northeasterners will do, too.

I'd like to find people who haven't run from New York (and in fact, still love it) but just wanted a change of pace and warmer weather. Where are you (what neighborhood)? What do you like about Mount Pleasant? Would you do it all over again? (PS: I'm as friendly as any Southerner but
I might as well start with the devils I know).

Go Yankees, Giants, Knicks. Oh, and Go higher education.

You've tried?

Indeed, -plenty- of transplants from NY and the NE. I've put some in Brickyard and Hamlin Plantation myself. Have others looking in Rivertowne, I'on, etc. Mount Pleasant seems to attract a good many of them from up north. Great weather, great public schools, close to downtown and the beach, etc.

Good luck!

They like the closeness to the "city", the commute is easy, and the beach is free. LOL

I like the fact that you have to ask -- good to see the old NJ insecurity is still intact !
