Can anyone who lives there give me the scoop on Snee Farms? I like the established feel of the neighborhood and the bigger, wooded lots. (I know the homes are older and often need quite a bit of updating, but we're open to that.) What's the make-up of the neighborhood like? Mostly older couples? Or lots of young families? Good mix of young and old? How many homes are in the neighborhood? Is it a friendly, social neighborhood? Do you have to join the club to swim? If so, how much does that cost? Any other pros/cons I should be thinking about?

My mom and stepdad live in snee farm. They are in their 60's, but the neighborhood is a make up of all demographics. As far as homes in snee farm TONS! I would have to guess over 1,000 between snee farm and snee farm lakes. About joining to swim I can ask in the morning and find out for you.

Yes Snee Farm has a swim team. it is one of the best in the area, I hear. Older homes, some with larger yards. Homes start in the 200's (snee farm gardens) and got up to 1 million. The homes were mostly built in the 70's and 80's. It was once "THE PLACE TO BE". Snee Farm is still a nice established community close to everything beach, shopping, etc.
