I'm talking about building density, not population density.

I wasn't comparing skylines. I was comparing building density.

The skylines are different, but the architecture is the same.
Exactly. Everyone knows Charleston is a much smaller city. I wasn't saying Charleston and Pittsburgh were the same, just that downtown Charleston (in terms of architecture and building density) reminds me of downtown Pittsburgh. I wasn't saying that Charleston has skyscrapers, because obviously that isn't true. Yes, Pittsburgh has skyscrapers, but the view from street-level looks a lot like the view in downtown Charleston.

I'd like to take your word for that, but having spent a great deal of time in both places I never had that impression. Maybe if you're standing right next to a bus and can't see anything else?

And, Chris... Charleston "bonding" with Pittsburgh? Interesting. Where in the world do you get that?

Folks, i've started a Charleston, WV thread on the General US page, if there are any takers.

Back to Chase Tower though. That plaza will be a great place becasue it will make a good connector between Capital St./Village District and the riverfront at Haddad Riverfront Park and the trails.
