Putting down carpet isn't progress. There's no such thing as a clean carpet, especially in a public area!

There is only carpet on the lower level, and industrial strength carpet is used in malls and airports all over the country effectively. But the remodel also includes a new design on the bottom floor over head, new railing, and new seating and dining areas.

holy crap, they have carpet now?!?! I should call my relatives in San Fran and tell them about the advances! I bet they got the money for carpet by denying Morgantown road funding!

Town Center has new tile down and the center court is almost complete. Starbucks is being rebuilt as well.

Went to the mall for the first time since leaving the area for school. The renovations were very nice, and the mall looks like a completely different place.

Plans unveiled for the exterior of the mall on the Court Street side to be remodeled and enhanced. Plans include, new facade for the mall and for Chili's, Tidewater Grill, and Outback. They also include new sidewalks, street lamps, green spaces, better drop off area, and the removal of an unloading zone to make a larger sidewalk to Five Guys/Qdoba. The mall also is planning other future improvements such as a new roof and heating/cooling system.

That's a good investment right there. The sidewalk and facade was really starting to look dilapidated. This should enhance the aesthetics of that side of the mall. And hopefully bring even more stores into the Town Center.
