Per the Amtrak website, overnight parking is available at the station in Charleston, WV. Is there a fee for this? I'll soon be taking a train out of Charleston and will be gone for several days before returning.
I don't think there is any charge. I don't see any way for them to regulate who uses the lot on the west side of the building by Laury's restaurant. Just park your car and lock it up.
Sorry to revive an old thread but I'm also planning a trip from Charleston to New York and won't return for 5 days. Does anyone know if the station allows parking for five days? Thanks for any info.

I don't believe they allow overnight parking. Maybe you could park in the city garage on the other side of the Southside Bridge, and walk to the station. It would be less than a half mile walk, but it wouldn't be fun if the weather was bad.

Thanks for the info! That's a good idea.
